Water clarification by sedimentation method
Purpose – to settle insoluble particles, organic compounds, silicates, hardness ions. Settlement units with lamellar separators are used. Coagulants and flocculants are used to accelerate the process of settlement of insoluble particles. Lime milk is used for removal of hardness ions. It is used for surface water treatment to be used in the further treatment systems. It is the integral part of waste water treatment process. It is the integral part of economizers’ smoke condensate treatment system.
