Polycarbonate, or PC, are thermoplastic polymers containing carbonate groups in their chemical structures. They are best known for their strength, toughness and transparency, promoting longer-lasting performance even in stressful conditions. Polycarbonate is a naturally clear, amorphous material that is easily worked, molded and thermoformed. Attributes include low water absorption, low shrinkage, high ductility, excellent creep resistance and overall good dimensional stability.
